The Norfolk County Teachers Association (NCTA) offers three graduate credit professional development courses in the Fall, Spring and Summer. 

Summer 2024 Registration is Open!

Summer Semester Dates: Monday, July 1 - Tuesday, July 23

No class July 4th or 5th

Registration will close on June 12, 2024 

 

Spring 2024 Course Dates

Monday, January 29 - Friday, May 3

No classes during MA School vacation weeks

What's Happening? 

The NCTA is beginning to organize a Bargaining Council for our member locals. More information will be coming soon!!

The annual NCTA All-Presidents Dinner Meeting with MTA Leadership was held on December 6th. It is always a great way to collaborate with our member locals.

Our October 2023 Free Workshop on Strategies for Teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students proved very useful for all who attended.

NCTA is partnered with Framingham State University 
NCTA provides professional development opportunities to help educators enhance their instructional skills, to share best practices, and to better understand and support their students while fostering confidence and independence.  Our online courses cover a wide variety of topics to help professionals in education enrich and elevate their instructional strengths while meeting their re-licensure requirements a/o upgrading their salary. While taking our courses educators are able to access materials 24/7 wherever there is access to the internet.  Educators will interact with their instructor and classmates throughout the duration of the courses dates.  All assignments, papers, exams and final projects are graded and posted by the instructor.
